Stunning vintage Italian piece, black painted wood frame with tiny gold accents. This gothic archway shaped image of an angel against a gilded background holding a trumpet reads "Gloria in Excelsis. Fra Angelico dip A Pini Editore Firenze - V. De Matteis copio"
These pieces were often commissioned to be printed by a local artisan by a church where the original piece of art lives. This piece was brought home to California and framed at Lester's Picture Framing in Stockton.
Condition: Amazing condition for it's potential age. The back has some holes in the paper. The painted frame is excellent, very minor wear.
Measures 18" tall by 11" wide.
