Rare vintage Atlantic Ceramic Lava Tree. This is the Louis Vuitton, Holy Grail of all ceramic trees. Very sought afte,r and very hard to come by. Proudly handmade and signed in the USA. Circa early to late 90's. The tree is painted in a fired on glaze and covered in fired on mother-of pearl. 22 karat white gold is fired on the entire tree. To achieve this final effect, it was fired 5 times at different temperatures. The topper is clear acrylic, 4 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide. This topper is a replica of the Swarovski crystal ornament. The tree is 21 inches tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the crystal. It is 13 inches wide at its broadest branch. The base, light kit and bulb are included. There are approximately 99 colorful bulbs that are glued in. The tree is felted at the bottom to prevent chipping or clattering together.
